The salesman was good, but it took me 4 hrs to buy a car. That’s way too long. The salesman said the people washing and detailing the car were backed up. I would have rather left with a dirty car and paid for it to be cleaned myself than waited 3 hrs for that. If the dealership knows they are going to be busy on a Saturday, they should hire more people to work in the car wash. The long wait is unacceptable for a luxury car dealership. I doubt it would take 4 hrs to buy a Chevrolet or a Kia.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I recently received from your service department.
I needed immediate assistance and left several messages for Brooke, our assigned service representative. I later learned that she was out of town. Unfortunately, she failed to notify the reception staff of her absence or arrange for another service representative to handle her customers' calls. As a result, my calls went unanswered at a time when I needed prompt assistance.

Service was great and Maria did excellent with good communication. It takes too long to get an appointment with a car rental. Two or three weeks. Just a heads up for the management of the service department! This was for a brake recall and oil change.
My experience at BMW of Sarasota was good overall, and the staff was professional and courteous. Chad met me when I arrived from Miami, showed me the vehicle, and the car was in the excellent condition I expected.
There were two things that kept this from being a five-star experience.

I hate the whole car buying process except for the end result (the car). This dealership was straight forward, gave me a great price via email and when I went to collect the car they did not try to nickel and dime into other half a dozen other things or change the price that brought me to the dealership. The dealership is professional, and everyone is very friendly. It just took a long time for service to be completed. They also said they were going to wash my car. They didn't vacuum the inside at all.

Overall good and mostly went as expected. Though disappointed they didn't rotate the tires which was included with the oil change special.
Efficient drop of my BMW car with drive in drop off. The service manager reviewed the list of services to be performed , so everyone was clear on what would be performed. Waiting area was comfortable with coffee , drinks and snacks. While waiting they texted me a video of my complimentary car inspection. The checkout and payment was quick with no surprises. The only improvements I would suggest is to speed up the service/repair portion of the process and to not charge for using a credit card so customers can collect points/miles.

It took nearly 2hrs for a scheduled oil change, then another 45 to rotate the tires…THEN my car was scuffed between washing and pick-up and nobody offered to fix it! I had 3 people watching me wipe out the scuffs….unbelievable

Derek is knowledgeable but has no idea what customer communication should be. He never returns calls or calls when he said he would. The department for new car sales is very poor. The salesmen are insulting if they can even be bothered to sell you a car. I had to buy my 4th and 5th BMWs from other dealers after first trying in Sarasota.
